On April 5, 2024, the City Mayor’s Office-Peace 911 conducted a Stakeholders Dialogue and Engagement Training in 1003rd Infantry Brigade Camp, Barangay Malagos, Baguio District, Davao City with its speaker, Dr. Marleonie Bauyot, PhD in Education Administration. The training aimed to enhance the capacity of Peace 911 personnel in engaging with diverse stakeholders effectively, recognizing the pivotal role stakeholders play in peacebuilding efforts. Understanding the diverse interests, concerns, and perspectives of stakeholders is fundamental to fostering collaboration and achieving sustainable peace. Through interactive workshops, participants were equipped with practical communication skills necessary for engaging with stakeholders from different backgrounds. Emphasis was placed on active listening, empathy, and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Recognizing that trust forms the foundation of successful partnerships, participants were guided on strategies to cultivate trust among stakeholders through transparency, integrity, and accountability.
