TURN-OVER OF THE FOUR (4) UNITS OF E-TRIKEBAYAN 3-WHEELED ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SAVE A TRIKE CO.
The SAVE A TRIKE CO., represented by its Co-Founder and Trustee of Guevara Foundation,Ms. Regine Borja Guevara, together with Atty. Margarita Ignacia B. Nograles donated the four (4) units of E-Trikebayan vehicles and were turned over last April 26, 2021 to the City of Davao. The turn-over activity was attended by the City Mayor, Hon. Sara Z. Duterte, Peace 911 Focal Person, Ms. Mary Aileen Mabanding and Integrated Gender and Development Division (IGDD) Officer-In-Charge, Ms. Lorna Mandin.
The City Government of Davao recognizes and supports women empowerment and their livelihood activities in Paquibato District. On behalf of the City Government of Davao, Peace 911 with the coordination of the Integrated Gender and Development Division (IGDD), identified the beneficiaries for the four (4) Electric Trikebayan units. The donation of the said vehicles is for the transportation in delivering the beneficiaries’ products to their customers or to the market.
The identified women associations in Paquibato District are registered in Department of Labor Employment (DOLE) XI. These associations are the following:
ØPatag RIC Association of Brgy. Malabog with 26 members,
ØPanalum Bread and Pastry Association of Brgy. Panalum with 26 members,
ØBarangay Women’s Association of Brgy. Mabuhay with 56 members, and
ØGumamela Women’s & Rural Improvement Club Association of Brgy. Paradise Embac with 66 members
The four (4) units of E-Trikebayan were turned over to the beneficiaries last October 23, 2021 in Brgy. Malabog Gym, Paquibato District, Davao City.
