During the night of October 2, 2023, a devastating fire incident occurred, resulting to the destruction of four homes located in Purok 11, Barangay Dominga, Calinan District, Davao City. The families residing in these houses lost all their household possessions in the blaze. Thankfully, all the affected families escaped unharmed.

Responding swiftly to this crisis, the City Government of Davao, through City Mayor’s Office-Peace 911, provided immediate assistance to the four affected households on October 3, 2023 at Purok 11, Barangay Dominga, Calinan District, Davao City. The City Mayor’s Office-Peace 911 distributed essential grocery packs and disaster kits to the affected families. These provisions were greatly appreciated by the families, as they will help meet their daily needs during this challenging period.
