The City Government of Davao, through Peace 911 conducted gift giving activities to the residents in Sitio Sabang Sita, Barangay Tapak, Paquibato District, Davao City on December 28, 2023. The Peace 911 also brought personnel from the City Health Office, to examine and give health care consultation to the residents.

Moreover, 60 farmers received 2,600 true and genuine abaca plantlets that they can cultivate in their area.

The activity of Peace 911 catered 320 residents including children and young people. Peace 911 facilitated an activity where children can immerse through different games that can stimulate their camaraderie and unity among themselves.

The Peace 911 also extended grocery packs assistance to the residents as part of the celebration of Pask Fiesta. In addition, they distributed school kits to the students in the community.

The office also conducted a gift giving activity to the community where hygiene kits, slippers, and loot bags were given to the children and young residents of Sitio Sabang Sita. The gift giving activity is in collaboration with the Davao City Investment and Promotion Center and SK Federation Davao, led by SK Federation President Councilor Kristine Abdul Mercado.

The activity aimed to bring joy and comfort to the young members of the community and to promote the well-being of the residents, as part of the Peace 911 mission of promoting people’s participation and cohesive social relation in the Paquibato District.
